How to Add More Memory to a Virtual Server on VMWare

Turn off the virtual server. Open the "Virtual Machine Properties" panel by right-clicking on the virtual server, and go to the "Options" tab.

Select the "Memory/CPU Hotplug" option on the left pane. Select "Enable Memory hot add for this virtual machine" and press "OK."

Right-click on the Virtual Machine and select "Virtual Machine Properties." Go to the "Hardware" tab and select "Memory" on the left tab.

Change the amount of memory on the right tab when the Virtual Machine needs it.
