how to remove RSS feeds in outlook 2010

If you do not want to use Outlook 2010’s RSS Feed Reader feature, you should remove it. It slows down Outlook. This also shows you how to remove the RSS feeds from the Outlook sidebar.

The main reason Outlook is made slower by RSS feeds is that Outlook will need time to sync with IE7’s feeds. By disabling this sync, you will improve Outlook’s performance

  1. Click the File tab.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Under RSS Feeds, clear the Synchronize RSS Feeds to the Common Feed List (CFL) in Windows check box.
